programs and activities
BCIMS hosts a year-round schedule of sitting groups, residential and non-residential retreats, daylong sits, workshops, and classes. Daylongs are suitable for beginning and experienced meditators (unless otherwise noted) and include basic meditation instructions.
For information about specific retreats and classes, please refer to the links in the left-hand column. If you would like to find a specific event, or search for a specifc teacher, you can use the Search feature at the bottom of this page.
In consideration of all participants, please do not wear scented personal care products (including "natural" products) to retreats, sitting groups, and classes.
Costs
BCIMS's intention is to make these teachings accessible to everyone, thus fees for retreats, classes and special events are kept as low as possible.
For those who cannot afford the full fees, a scholoarship may be available on certain retreats. To learn more about this, please see scholarships.
Dana (The Practice of Generosity)
The teaching is done by donation (dana), which can be made at the end of class, daylong or retreat. More information about dana.
