BCIMS Board of Directors Postings
BCIMS invites expression of interest in joining the Board of Directors.
Board Treasurer
The BCIMS Board is looking for a practitioner with accounting or equivalent financial expertise to join us and to assume the role of Board Treasurer.
The board meets monthly on Sundays for two hours and there are additional committee meetings, depending on one’s interest. The Treasurer sits on the Executive Committee, which meets for one hour monthly. Their role is to oversee the budget, participate in financial planning with the Operations and Community Programs director, and, with the Executive, to maintain BCIMS’s financial sustainability.
As part of cultivating a more diverse board and community we strongly encourage inquiries from Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) who have a financial background for this volunteer position.
If you feel you’d like to make this valuable contribution of your skills to our Sangha, please contact Sānta Aloi, Board President, at santa.aloi@gmail.com
